Nigeria’s vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, has escaped death as his helicopter crash landed in Kogi State, his spokesperson, Laolu Akande says.
Mr Akande, in a tweet on Saturday, said, “VP Osinbajo’s Chopper crash lands in Kabba, but he and the entire crew (are) safe. He is continuing with his engagements and plans for the day in Kogi State.” This is the second time Mr Osinbajo is surviving a helicopter crash.
He narrowly escaped death after his chopper crash landed shortly after take-off in Gwagwalada area council, June last year.
He was in the area council to attend the graduation of 40 senior officers of the Nigeria Customs Service at the Customs College.
